Th... read more We spent 14 days at SkyCity and ate breakfast and dinner at The Vue on several occasions. We noted a distinct improvement since our previous visit last year. The food had definitely improved at the buffet with fresh prawns and seafood on offer, as well as a variety of cooked offerings. There is also a good a la carte menu on offer at the bar but you can eat your meal in the restaurant if there is room, we always head out onto the balcony which is virtually empty at 8.30 pm. They have extended their half price buffet meals for seniors to Tuesdays as well as Mondays, terrific value. Breakfast had also improved. On busy weekends and Mondays and Tuesdays there is a buffet and on the other days you can choose from their breakfast menu, continental alone or with hot food delivered promptly - very good and quite speedy. Well done Vue you have made some great improvements. Tip: make sure to book at weekends, Mondays and Tuesdays, it gets very busy.

We had one minor issue that the manager promptly and professionally addressed so we would not hesitate to recommend this place.

It was clean, spacious, and had a wide variety of options on the menu to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I wish I had more time to come back and visit again.
