The Lakes - THE ENTRANCE

I recently had a Christmas lunch at this restaurant with some former colleagues and their wives. The rooms were rated 3 out of 5, the service was rated 4 out of 5, and the location was rated 4 out of 5. Overall, the hotel was considered a great value.

My sister and I were enjoying ourselves on the dance floor at Lakes Hotel when suddenly, a group of intoxicated men started causing trouble. One of them forcefully pushed another, causing me to be thrown against the wall and injuring my ribs and muscles. There was a lack of security present before the incident occurred. I had to seek medical treatment for my injuries and I believe that this hotel has a violent atmosphere with inadequate security measures in place. Be cautious if you choose to visit. I have documentation to support my claims.

The restaurant has undergone a fantastic renovation, but the food service staff, including the Manager on duty last night, seem to have been left behind with an outdated attitude and poor customer service. There are plenty of other options along the Coast with more accommodating staff who are willing to cater to families with children. Overall, the service was rated a 1 out of 5.

Reviewing the food only fantastic Sunday (lamb) roast. Chicken caesar salad is also solid. Would happily eat here again
