Great food quality. Top tier. But, as someone who loves to try out different food styles and have gone to fancy as well as local restaurants or taco trucks, it’s just a bit odd that they can’t accept cash as a restaurant this is a first for me. Considering the type of neighborhood (old historic Hispanic area), most do not carry at times cards for payment or e- payments. This leaves out the possibility of many to not... View all feedback.
What Omar Miranda doesn't like about Kickin' Kombucha:
The coffee is good and the attention too. but they lack inventory. I come to drink coffee with bread and they always say that there is no more. They only have bizarre sweet bread options. They should have a better inventory of bread. Coffee is good to drink with bread. but there is never so I only drink coffee alone? View all feedback.
Yay for kick's kombucha. Cochinito and kick'n were same before and now they've split up into two places. Nevertheless, good kombucha here. There were more flavors when it was all one at the restaurant location before I think. Still even though expensive, it's good kombucha. The lady who works there is pleasant and nice; the guy whose there sometimes is always grumpy and doesn't even acknowledge me when I've gone there when he's around. So my work around to that is that, when he's there I don't go in! But I'll still go there when the lady is there b/c it's good kombucha and close by for me. Everything else at this store it's too pricey. So I'll go to the several other grocery stores around. 4 star b/c of pricing. Kombucha itself is good and it's conveniently close by, even though expensive for the amount/volume you get for the price.
Thankful for the vegan options! Wish there was a vegan egg and cheese sub too. Speaking of cheese. Love that they carry Rebel Cheese in the store. And Acaju yogurt. I was sad to not see the chamoy I got last time though. Burrito with vegan crema chorizo.
Love it in here! The service is so awesome and the place is so aesthetic , I love coming working here and have a coffee. The seats are comfy, they have enough plugs for computers, it’s usually quiet (not always, so bring your earphones). Lattes are strong! They don’t play around. The food is so fresh and healthy. Only “complain” would be that the cochinita is too spicy, I wish they had a non-spicy version. I’m from Mexico and authentic cochinita is not spicy so I went along with that idea and when I got my tacos I couldn’t really enjoy them. This is my favorite coffeeshop in town!
Amazing food and great service. This was my first time visiting and already planning my next one. I got the barbacoa with rice and a side of elote. This place isn 't authentic Mexican food but more upscale modern but still very flavorful! It has tons of vegan and vegetarian options. There are a few salsas that you can add to your food. Everything had a really pleasant heat and you could add more if you wanted to. They also chips, sweet and other items to buy on the side of the store. Highly recommend!
Everything is good here. Great veggie options and lovely atmosphere! The mushroom tostadas are amazing and great portion size. The Cafe de Olla is my go to.
