There’s a reason why this place gets nothing but five-star reviews. Even if the food isn’t super-fast, it is more than worth the wait. The blackened fish and Cajun fried rice were expertly prepared and flavorful, and the gumbo broth was some of the best I’ve tasted. The fare puts a lot of more conventional sit-down restaurants to shame. We had a superb meal for two for under 30 bucks. I wish they were on the West Coa... View all feedback.
What Yasmine Roberson doesn't like about 7spice:
Shrimp is fresh and other ingredients tasted fresh. The potatoes couldve been boiled to be a little softer. The reason for the low review is whole sausage thats served tastes weird. Wish they could change the quality and type of sausage that they use if they could slice it. The seasonings were okay. The hot flavor was very mild and I was disappointed that there was no garlic at all or lemon pepper in the seasoning bl... View all feedback.
I really like this place they don't rush u in the middle of ordering food is always on point even my kids love coming here
The food was so good and flavorful we love eating the butter sauce. Service was quick
The restaurant appeared clean inside, and while there was a dine-in area, I noticed that most customers opted for takeout and delivery. It was a convenient spot for lunch. I ordered the Po’ Boy sandwich, which featured a nice piece of catfish, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor and could have used some salt on the sweet potato fries. I considered other options but didn’t feel drawn to anything in particular. Perhaps the dish would have had more flavor if I had chosen to have it blackened.
The shrimp and other ingredients were fresh, but the potatoes could have been boiled a bit longer for a softer texture. The main concern that led to my low rating was the sausage, which had an odd taste. I would recommend changing the quality and type of sausage, and slicing it for better presentation. The seasonings were just okay; the heat level was mild, and I was disappointed to find no garlic or lemon pepper in the blend, especially since they advertise as a Cajun-style restaurant. I've had better seafood boils at places like Cajun City or Swamp City. The seasoning tasted like a basic seven-seasoning blend, and for that reason, I wouldn't order again. Overall, it was bland for a seafood boil and the sausage quality was lacking. However, it's a safe choice if you have acid reflux or other digestive issues. On a positive note, the dirty rice was quite good.
I enjoyed the food without ketchup or Tabasco, and I usually don't eat anything without adding my own comments. The seasoning here is spot-on. The food is absolutely delicious!
