The 8-course tasting menu was fantastic and quite satisfying, even for my husband, who usually isn't full after tasting menus. The quality was top-notch, the service was excellent, and the cocktails were amazing. View all feedback.

The 8-course tasting menu was innovative and beautifully presented. The excellent sake flights complemented the dishes perfectly. The service was attentive, which is what you would expect for this price range. View all feedback.

While the dinner service was excellent, at the two-hour mark, we were brought the check and told we needed to leave. The reservation clearly stated that parties of six have 2.5 hours, but the server claimed that since we booked private dining, we were limited to two hours. I even showed the hostess that my reservation was for the main dining area, but it didn’t seem to matter. Our group spent over $1,300 before tip that night, and we would have likely ordered more if we hadn’t been rushed out after two hours. It was a disappointing experience, especially while celebrating my birthday.

Even asked them to customize our rolls a bit. Wonderful service and a great ambiance.
My wife and I both did the 6 course tasting menu with sake parings. Of the 6 dishes, 4 were excellent, 1 was a total flop and one was so so . With a Kaiseki meal you expect the freshest, most unique dishes. The failure dish was their take on a A5 Wagu taco. Totally not in keeping with the Japanese theme. In Texas if you do a taco, you gotta beat some stiff competition! The so so dish was a flatbread pizza with truffle oil we felt this was a halfhearted effort you can get similar at many Italian restaurants. The other flour entrees were excellent and showed the scope of the chef 's abilities from salmon sushi to black cod, to a Wagu rib it was all perfection! I hope they will continue to refine this tasting menu as it is really special. Our waiter was a savant when it came to the sake parings giving us a lot of background on the different taste profiles. Really appreciated that! Oh, and the apple pie dessert was perfectly done. We had an enjoyable evening and I hope restaurants of this quality can continue to thrive.
