The Alphorn - The Blue Mountains

I had a fantastic meal at The Alphorn. The atmosphere was excellent, creating a truly authentic experience. The food was outstanding as well. I ordered the French Wobbles and the carving, and both were fantastic. I will definitely be returning!

We are so happy that we stumble on this beautiful restaurant! we had a wonderful, delicious breakfast here. I still desire the shiny (even if it was my man who ordered it for himself). highly recommended to try this place! and a special thanks for the waitress who gave us a good morning laugh!

I ordered the stroganoff while my partner had the chicken carving. Both dishes were good, but the stroganoff was absolutely amazing—so flavorful! The green beans that came with the carving weren't in season, but there was salt and pepper available at the table, so it wasn't a major issue. The staff were friendly, and they have an excellent selection of beer. I would definitely come back!

A very disappointing meal. overcrowded carvings. no taste or season on one of the foods. don't waste your money.

I've dined at many 'European' style restaurants, and this one was a major letdown. We traveled over 80 kilometers to visit based on the reviews, but it didn't live up to expectations. The spätzle were decent, but the pork schnitzel tasted pre-cooked and was just reheated, resulting in a very dry texture. The green beans were undercooked and too crunchy for my liking. Upon arrival, I felt uneasy about the cluttered atmosphere and the need for a good carpet cleaning. I should have trusted my instincts and left. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
