During my travels through Vietnam, I visited a halal Vietnamese restaurant in Hanoi in search of good food. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The spicy meat pho was delicious, and the owner was extremely friendly. The space could use a fresh coat of paint as it appeared a bit dirty, but the food was superb and the prices were reasonable. I have the land for a little halal love for my bauch and was not disappointed by the daun restaurant. the bark bun bo has blown my head and the nasi goreng was lovely. with a series of dressed from singapur, malaysia and vietnam, the menu is designed to also offer the most fussy munchers among us something to their taste buds. Try it out so they're not stupid.
I super love it here!!! Pho is to die for and the spring rolls are yummy! Highly recommending this restaurant. Owner is also very kind and accommodating. Must try! Dont leave HCMC without trying this restaurant.
Pros: 1. Location a walking distance from ben tanh market 2. The food taste were very delicious 3. Halal Cons: 1. Place were not big, arround 5 table on 1st floor, and some on the 2nd floor. 2. A little bit pricey for asian or melayu food.
This is a good and clean halal restaurant in Ho Chi Minh. The owner is a muslim. They deliver to your hotel for a small fee. Try the traditional vietnamese food especially the beef Pho, spring rolls and Banh Mi.
This was the first restaurant we visited when we arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. The experience was non typical, the workers were able to speak Bahasa Melayu (they were locals who self taught themselves to speak Bahasa). Our food was fulfilling but I must say almost all the halal eateries in HCMC offered the same rate so I couldn't really suggest you to go here if you are looking for cheaper eateries. The place could fit small number of people so don't bother coming if you come with all your 2 generation family members.
