Visited this place twice as it was good enough for us to make another visit. Loved the pho, finished the soup on both visit haha! Situated near the notre dame and post office puts it in a very central location for tourists. the good thing is they do not close after lunch hour, so vegetarian and vegan tourists can look to fill their tummies at any hour of the day. What Nghi Tiêu doesn't like about Bong Sung Vegetarian:
The place is hidden from the busy street front of Saigon. The hustle and bustle does not reach here! And this quite is nice. You can still spend time on their balcony and it is lovely there. Unfortunately, the food was boring not to say bland. I asked for a dish with lots of tofu, well that did not happen. The noodles were pretty much lots of noodles and 2 slices of tofu. surely there was a bit of language barrier. B... View all feedback.
Must try! the aubergine in ingwersoße was delightful the mushrooms on the same side of the menu were as good as the coffee was super the peanut appetizer we got was killer all around all the dishes were so good! the service was fast the environment is cozy every dish is between 50-90 dong, so not super cheap, but the quality of eating is great. between 2 people we had 2 main dishes and one ate and that was more than enough. the main dishes are well served can not wait to go back!
Really nice experience. we went past a rainy afternoon and took the table outside on the balcony. the first positive impression is the colonial architecture of the restaurant. it's beautiful. service was a bit relaxed, but for a place like this maybe that wasn't so bad that we ordered silky tofu, crispy noodles and fungal curry. plus limonaden and Vietnamese coffee at the end. the prizes are all right. the food was good. could be seasoned better, but the quality of the ingredients was exceptional and fresh. the drinks were amazing, I appreciate better than most standalone caffes I have been in vietnam in 2 weeks! overall this place really loved and wished more days in hcmc to go back.
The entrance of the restaurant is difficult to find, but the restaurant is well known as it is always packed during lunchtime. cultivate and cook a local Vietnamese Chinese art that suits me well. good variety of choices not found in other veg restaurant. highly recommended.
Very good address of a vegetarian restaurant (in d1 d3). the products are of good quality the prices are very affordable: a main course between 55k and 150k. the decoration is very modern and cozy. it feels at home. the room is quiet and the tables are spaced apart, which allows us to fully enjoy our meal. the waiters are professional and friendly. the menu is both in Vietnamese and English. In addition, bong sung is an eco-restaurant that respects the environment. all juices and drinks are served with grashalmen! I love this place.

Lovely ambience too We also tried the vegan pate with baguette. Very interesting dish! And the jackfruit steamed with coconut was actually very tasty. Do try the Viet coffee, it is up there with the best coffee in Saigon IMO
