The Green Tara - Thanet

This restaurant is amazing for dining or just grabbing a drink! The staff is excellent, the ambiance is lovely (there was a pianist playing while I was there), and the food is delicious. I had the shrimp with salad and fries, as well as the Valentine's cake, and enjoyed every bite. Plus, they are very dog-friendly!

This place is a little gem. My friend took us as we love Belgium beer and they had a great stock of bottles and leffe on tap. We asked the chef if he could knock up some nibbles as well and he did us some beautiful garlic tomatoes on the vine with mushrooms plus chips and cheese on rustic bread. Delicious and reasonably priced. Will be coming again for definite

Food fabulous. Chef par excellente. Used to go here prev when it was the Belgian Cafe. Disappointed when it folded. Green Tara has kept it largely the same which is great. Waiting staff just need 2b a bit more on the ball. Well worth eating here reasonably priced .

This café on the beach at the end of the harbor promenade is a hidden gem. The staff is extremely friendly, the meals are delicious, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

With a breakfast like this, how can anyone not love Green Tara? I adore the Belgian bar, but the refreshing atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious new menu items are sure to make me a regular here.
