Recently myself my husband from London went to the Recency for the first time with friends who live in Westgate, who invited us down. The food was delicious . It was a mate's 50th Birthday on Saturday so we decided to go and have a Indian, so we chose Regency Tandoori in Westgate. All I can say is wow!! The best Indian restaurant I've ever been too. The food was fantastic, a friendly service, great atmosphere. This place was packed out which in my experience is only a good sign. They have a sit in restaurant which I say would hold about 50 guests. They also do a take away service. The prices are reasonable.The only very small downside it needs a little TLC, the chairs have seen better days. But that's it!! I would highly recommend this Tandoori restaurant I will most definitely going back and recommending to friends. Thank you too all the staff who served us on Saturday night you were fantastic.
