Kokan Ratna - Thāne

Good place for family dining, they have large space for big group. You can celebrate birthday as well on the small stage available there. For kids it will be much more fun because there is small play ground available. They also show cricket on big screen so in current time it is fun to watch IPL and have your food as well. Service is good and ambience is also good. Personally I liked the starters but didn't enjoyed biryani much.

Nice place to hangout with friends if you need that dhaba feels. Food was good but not great. There was too much colour in food. Overall it is good to hangout here once in a while

Spacious fine dining spot located on shilphata road. We ordered manchow soup which was bit salty. Also, dal khichdi taste was quite good. Must try dishes are Chicken or Mutton lapeta, Kalegi or Potta fry. Nice place to chill and relax as this is a bar also.

This is my usual place to stop by when there's heavy traffic on the Kalyan Shilphata road. The food used to be good here, but now the quality of food has drastically dropped. So has the quality of service. It's a shame, because this was one of the good ones.

It was Sunday and home secretary told me that eating was not prepared for the whole day to house so the biggest question is what to find and where the answer was easy and it was the google only that helped me. many restaurants searched and finally decided to go shalu restaurant, but due to the ongoing roadwork and traffic we went straight to shilphata and took her around, it was 1 we decided to go the first restaurant of shilphata and we found kokan ratn restaurant. the entrance was too good, they feel fresh when entering the restaurant. we had so much luck that we have options to get the table. there was enough space or table, then thr was nice place for children. the garden with many toys, the children in the play and they can enjoy their lunch. they come to the main point of review and that was menu. we ordered salted chicken and rice for children, it was good in taste. we ordered prawns tawa fry it seems something in the higher side, taste was spicy enough and taste was really good. the chef has mutton masala prepared with typical liquid spicy gravur mutton in masala and perfectly mixed with engraving. we spent more than three hours it was really wonderful for us and children. if they really want to spend some time in the quality around dombivili and shilphata this would have to visit place in their list.
