Visited this place last year for a lunch. The ambience is quiet good and staff was courteous. In drinks we had Mojito and Margerita.. the taste was extremely refreshing. Food quality and was also good. Loved their Chicken bharta... Well overall a good experience... Must visit once
Ambience of this place is nice and cozy As per the taste the prices are bit high We had ordered tandoori fire chicken which was stuffed with cheese and was perfectly cookedThe biryani which we had ordered was not that great just okayish.
Copper Chimney is a brand backed by great legacy. Over the years I have visited many of it's outlets including it's iconic Worli and Kala Ghoda outlets. Though Thane is right in my back yard my visits to the Thane Copper Chimney have been very rare. The reason behind it being that the Thane Copper Chimney though good, sometimes fails to live up to the standards set by its other iconic outlets. The food items except chicken fail to live up to the standards. However the service factor remains unchanged. Let us deep dive into the the goods, the bads and the excellents of Copper Chimney, Thane <br/ <br/ Food (3.5/5) <br/ <br/ White Pepper Chicken Soup For a brand like Copper Chimney, I still dont understand how they have only one non veg soup on their menu. Even the one soup they have lacks richness and aroma of a white pepper chicken soup. It also lacked some salt and the zest that comes along with a pepper soup. As a soup lover this being the only option was rather disappointing <br/ <br/ Kadak Roomali Roti A Copper Chimney orignal ordered with cheese on top and an ample amount of butter was a delight as always. Its definitely a must have Achari Chicken Tikka Like the previous Copper Chimney Orignal, this dish was also an absolute marvel. The Chicken was succulent, soft and well marinated. It was a blast of flavor and melted like butter inside the mouth. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED <br/ <br/ Lal Mirch Jhinga Disappointment, the Prawns were either not fresh or were grossly undercooked. Never does a prawn dish leave my table unfinished but this one did. <br/ <br/ Parda Gosht Biryani Another Copper Chimney Orignal but a rather sub par experience. I have had this parda gosht biryani at the kala ghoda outlet and was an absolute delight. However, here it fails to meet expectations. The Mutton is a bit chewy and definitley doesnt seemed slow cooked as described in their menu. Even the rice seemed to be not rich enough. Higher expectations from an orignal were not met <br/ <br/ Service (5/5) Our server was Shivaji and he ensured everything on the Service side was absolutely perfect. They were attentive yet gave space. Tables were cleaned after every course and plates were changed when they were needed to be. They made us feel like we were at a Copper Chimney. They also knew their menu pretty well and had a recommendation or two ready whenever I needed one. The team was also graciously taking in the negative points I offered with an attitude of developing on it. So Kudos to team Copper Chimney for the sublime service <br/ <br/ Ambiene (4.5/5) Typically Copper Chimney, with their spice racks and copper vessels hanging around. Their tables are ridiculously spacious and comfortable. The vibe is very calm and quiet, with very soft music playing in the back ground. No complaints on this end at all. <br/ <br/ All and all Copper Chimney is a good experience, at Thane it somehow falls short of it's marquee counterparts but still doest shine too dull. It surely worth your visit.....Bon Appétit
I've always enjoyed copper chimney. The restaurant brand has been around since before opening a new concept restaurant was a cool thing to do in town.<br/ <br/ The ambiance is perfect for families and large settings. For starters we tried the lamb burra chops. The massive ribs are served in tandoori masala. Cooked to perfection, it is moist with chunky meat bits and delicious to have. We also had the white pepper chicken chops that again were delicious and tandoored to perfection. Along with these mains we had the spicy Jaljeera and Dilli Shikanji for mocktails. Their chatpata flavours kept us energised throughout. Spicy and packed with flavour, both were superb to have along with our Indian starters. <br/ <br/ For mains we had the succulent Butter chicken which had mosit and tasty chunky bits of chicken in the perfectly balanced sweet and masaledar butter chicken gravy. <br/ And when you are in copper chimney you absolutely cannot miss the Rogan Ghosh! The chunky pieces of mutton in the flavourful gravy were really satisfying to gorge in. And offcourse Dal makhani Maharaja one is the best vegetarian dish on their menu. Dipped my whole wheat roomali into this beauty and really it was something else altogether. For the dessert we had the Muzzarfar which was basically think Rabdi served with roasted candied vermicilli and pistachio. Absolutely delicious and a perfect end to our meal. We have to commend our serve Om prakash for the superbly prompt service, fine suggestions and for assingnti the hospitality experience overall. Definitely a place I'm going to visit soon again and you should too!
