I've always enjoyed copper chimney. The restaurant brand has been around since before opening a new concept restaurant was a cool thing to do in town.<br/ <br/ The ambiance is perfect for families and large settings. For starters we tried the lamb burra chops. The massive ribs are served in tandoori masala. Cooked to perfection, it is moist with chunky meat bits and delicious to have. We also had the white pepper chicken chops that again were delicious and tandoored to perfection. Along with these mains we had the spicy Jaljeera and Dilli Shikanji for mocktails. Their chatpata flavours kept us energised throughout. Spicy and packed with flavour, both were superb to have along with our Indian starters. <br/ <br/ For mains we had the succulent Butter chicken which had mosit and tasty chunky bits of chicken in the perfectly balanced sweet and masaledar butter chicken gravy. <br/ And when you are in copper chimney you absolutely cannot miss the Rogan Ghosh! The chunky pieces of mutton in the flavourful gravy were really satisfying to gorge in. And offcourse Dal makhani Maharaja one is the best vegetarian dish on their menu. Dipped my whole wheat roomali into this beauty and really it was something else altogether. For the dessert we had the Muzzarfar which was basically think Rabdi served with roasted candied vermicilli and pistachio. Absolutely delicious and a perfect end to our meal. We have to commend our serve Om prakash for the superbly prompt service, fine suggestions and for assingnti the hospitality experience overall. Definitely a place I'm going to visit soon again and you should too!
Copper Chimney honestly does not need any introduction. It is one of the oldest fine dining names in the city. They have grown over the years and today have multiple outlets across the city. We went to the one at Viviana Mall on the evening of HOLI. <br/ <br/ The outlet is very well spaced out and the interiors give a very royal feel. The ambience is top class. The place also offers supreme hospitality. You can be rest assured that you will be well taken care of by their staff. We were served by Mr. Kiran and Mr. Shailesh his supervisor was constantly around ensuring that everything is up to the mark. We also got a chance to interact with the chef Mr. Ajay who was extremely courteous.<br/ <br/ Coming to the food, we ordered for the below dishes , drinks and desserts:<br/ <br/ 1. White Pepper chicken soup <br/ 2. Lal Mirch Jhinga<br/ 3. Tandoori Grilled Fish Tikka<br/ 4. Mutton Seekh Kebab<br/ 5. Skewered chicken Kofta<br/ 6. Kadai Roomali cheese masala papad<br/ <br/ All the starters were to die for. The prawns stole the show. They were just amazing, the size the freshness and the marination was just perfect. <br/ <br/ For drinks we had the below cocktails and mocktails <br/ <br/ <br/ Cocktails <br/ 1. Indian LIIT the coconut water added the Indian twist.<br/ 2. Khatta Panna Mango based cocktail <br/ 3. Margarita Strawberry<br/ <br/ Mocktails <br/ <br/ 1. Blue Breeze<br/ 2. Kiwi Fresh Fruit Margarita <br/ <br/ All the drinks were refreshing. The cocktails had a nice punch to it.<br/ <br/ The best is always reserved for the last. For desserts we had,<br/ <br/ 1. Muzaffar thick and rich Lucknowi Rabdi topped with golden roasted vermicelli.one of the best desserts I have had. It’s praise worthy.<br/ 2. Rasmalai this dessert doesn’t really need a description. It was good but Muzaffar was better.<br/ <br/ Had a really memorable dining experience. Will certainly recommend all to try the mouth watering dishes and superb hospitality.
Copper chimney, a legendary outlet which has been around from 1972 and almost every generation of my family has been here for great family meals. The secret recipes from Peshawar to Delhi are plated out here and the method of slow cooking is the theme. The food here is best eaten with hands and the earthy feel of the north west frontier cuisine is so nostalgic and reminds one of the food of the bygone eras before partition happened. <br/ We were served here with a lot of love and attention by Mr. Priyansh and i must say it was hospitality at its best. We tried some of the house specials and truly they managed to mesmerise us. <br/ <br/ 1. Spicy cheese naans. These were made from cheddar cheese and green chillies stuffed inside a naan and served piping hot. Ideal dish for cheese lovers and pretty delicious as we found them savoury and crispy. <br/ 2. Hung yogurt tikka. Dahi Kebabs made perfectly crispy on the outside and melt in the mouth soft on the inside. Loved the garnish of the potato sev on these to add to the crunch in each bite. A fantastic dish. <br/ 3. Tandoori Dhaba aloo. 2 types of marinations were used, Green mint chutney and red curd based. Tasted good but not really worth judging much about. They were quite basic. <br/ 4. Chowk ki subzi. A mix vegetables semi dry curry with baby potatoes, cauliflower, green peas and capsicum tossed In a spicy tomato onion gravy. Was excellent and had a very homely touch. <br/ 5. Dal with double tadka. Was fantastic. Really good <br/ 6. Onion and chilly roti. A nice variation in the Indian bread. Was super crispy and buttery. <br/ 7. Jeera rice. Don’t miss this for the world. The ghee flavour is so delectable that I couldn’t stop at one bite. <br/ 8. Muzaffar. One of the The best desserts in the house. It was thick luscious rabdi served with crispy golden roasted vermicelli. The rabdi was a bit sweeter than my liking but was just difficult to stop eating. The soft rabdi with the crunch of the crispy vermicelli was like a bite made in heaven. Must order here. <br/ <br/ Overall I can say this place needs no publicity as the full house packed crowd here displays its fame and popularity. A must try for all the north west frontier cuisine fans.
