What Eric Hueting doesn't like about Midami Sushi:
We had the lunch box. Food was not very fresh, and lacking in flavour. Miso soup was quite good though. We didn't finish everything which is unusual for us. The restaurant is a bit worn looking, and not of the highest standard of cleanliness. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.
Called in at 12 pm and warmer was empty I enquired if they would have anymore of the honey sesame chicken kebab but was told no sold out. I know for a fact that this is a popular food and found it unbelievable that it wasn’t available. 12 pm is lunchtime so you’d think they would endeavour to keep them coming. Also another favourite of my mokopuna is rolled sushi with pineapple avocado and cream cheese, the complaint there is the sizes of each one so randomly sliced, thin and thick. How hard is it to slice evenly. The worst sushi shop I’ve ever experienced and I’m a huge fan
