I went there with my girlfriend on a weekday night. We were surprised by the nice interior- you'd never expect it from the outside. Very nice decoration and cozy restaurant, but to pricy for the amount of dishes offered. Extremely unfriendly waitress. She seemed to be stressed all the time, even though the place was not full. Food completely ok The ambience is typical Chinese kitsch.
Why use Kunming as the name of the restaurant and they don't even make Yunnan or Kunming food? They ruined the reputation of my city. Horrible.
Ich war nun schon ein paar mal im Kunming und bin jedesmal wieder von neuem begeistert. Es wird orginal chinesisch nach alten Familienrezepten gekocht und vorallem ohne Geschmacksverstärker oder sonst was. Wenn man auf gutes Essen in einer herzlichen Atmosphäre werlegt, ist man hier genau an der richtigen Adresse.Ein grosses Lob an den Koch und die ganze Familie Truong.
Das Essen war Fantastisch, die dekoration einladend und das Personal sehr herzhaft und nett. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen hierhin zu gehen egal ob aleine oder mit freunde und familie
Wunderschönes Restaurant, mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Frische Blumen auf dem Tisch und drehbarem Teil in der Mitte des Tisches, wie man es von China her kennt. Das ermöglicht auch eine einfach Degustation der verschiedenen Menus. Wir waren 7 Personen und konnten so diverse Gerichte ausprobieren. Sie waren alle äusserst lecker - ein richtiger Schmaus. Wir bestellten Crevetten, versch. Fleisch, Tofu und Gemüse. Die Portionen waren ausserdem sehr gut berechnet. Die Gastgeber sind megaherzig und sehr herzlich. Das war ein richtig toller Abend.
