Cha-am is a quiet town by the sea and has an appropriate selection of shops and restaurants. It's pretty quiet if you like that. The fishing community at the northern end of the city is interesting.

Beautiful and clean beach with loads of options and variety of food
It is clean and not deep. It offers many activities for kids like horseback riding and building sand castle. It has restaurants by the beach that serves good food and good price.
