When she finally finished with the woman she was serving, I politely asked, “Could we just have our mobile order?” I could still see the bag, and I had already paid for it; the sandwiches were ready. Instead of helping me, she ignored my request and moved to the other side of the counter. I tried again, saying, “Ma’am?” She replied, “Yeah, you can wait,” and then called up the man who had arrived after me. It was only when she noticed that he hesitated to begin his order, and I was obviously becoming frustrated, that she finally asked for my name and confirmed the last four digits of my phone number. Then she shoved the bag towards me, cutting me off mid-sentence to wish me a good day. When I asked, “Are the milk and applesauce in the bag?” she interrupted me once more, tossing over her shoulder, “It’s all in there.” I will not be returning to this location again.
