St Andrew's Fish n Chips - Tewantin

So went to get a lunch. don't particularly like to wife of the owner cooking cause she cooks a horrible meal and I can't eat it and enjoy it. I asked the guy serving to make it instead of her and got kicked out!!! If I'm paying $10 for a meal I want it cooked the way I like it and edible!!! And then to make matters worse then when the jerk kicked me out for being so outright rude(mind you he asked me why I didn't want her cooking my food) then the wife come out and had a go too! Great business ethics!! Can shove this business fair straight to bankrupt cause thats where that sort of carry on get you. I gave a benefit of the doubt and thought that after my dripping oily fish that was so oily that I couldn't eat it a few weeks ago, and then mentioned it to them and his answer is that's how we cook it, so if you don't like it then don't buy it. I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone! Their attitude is terrible. And it's lucky iga is right next door cause that's where I have to get a drink from to have with my meal cause they can't even supply a decent standard of that.

This takeaway has had a few owners over the years, and is currently run by a lovely Chinese couple. The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable and they have recently put in new tables and chairs. Essentially it is a takeaway.

No hassles with parking and we had good service and great value. Took a little to find but we worth the drive.

This shop has been taken over by a oriental gentlemen and I think his daughter.... We've eaten here a few times now and just keep coming back.... His deep fish bites are just delicious, they have never been burnt and have always been cooked in fresh oil, you can certainly taste the difference. His potato scallops are home made and taste really nice, their not fat and chunky, which is just the way I like them, as is most of his food. He has always over served us, which is nice to come across, and his whiting fillets which he sells for 4 for $7.00 is very filling and fresh. I can highly recommend this shop, he is not over priced like a lot of Noosa takeaways and his food is just so nice :-)

I have been to many fish and chip shops, but this one stands out as one of the better ones. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. The chips are cooked perfectly and their "works burger" is the best I've had in a long time.
