Great Sandy Reataurant - Tewantin

Recently stayed for 2 nights at an unpowered campsite. Amenities included toilets, showers with hot water, laundry and BBQs, seemed fairly new and were kept decently clean. There was also a communal fridge where you can leave your unfinished food items that you didn't want to take home with you (butter, milk etc) which I thought was a really nice touch (though not sure if anybody would actually take anything in these times with Covid and all). The showers were usually coin operated but were currently free to use. Overall, nice location with the beach basically at your doorstep, but the wind was really strong while we were there and was loud enough to wake me up a couple of times throughout the night (when I'm normally a heavy sleeper). Just a consideration when choosing the time to visit try not to go when there's going to be strong winds!

Great location to camp or caravan, we had a great time here with our family and friends for 5 days/nights with very tidy ammenities

Stayed one night and loved it, that I wished I could stay longer. but have to leave because of other scheduled locations to visit at QLD. I Love this place, super friendly staff. special thanks to Felize Has all you need for a comfortable camping experience. Will be coming back again in the future. Highly recommended.

What great spot. Right on the beach. Very relaxing. No passing traffic on the beach as this is a no go zone for beach driving very safe for the family.

Beautiful location, super helpful staff (particular thanks to the lovely person who solved our ‘charging’ problems! , immaculate facilities. Felt like I was camping but with mod cons. We stayed in the non powered, bush sites with kangaroos grazing nearby. The first part of the Cooloola Walk near the beach was covered in wildflowers spectacular. Highly recommend.
