What a good experience! The day we tried them was a bank holiday. We hadn’t known it was a bank holiday and we were finding it difficult to get a lunchtime table at the usual venues. Cascada had a table available, so problem solved. The culture in this bar/restaurant is lovely, the staff being really friendly and welcoming. We wanted something light for lunch hence went for open sandwiches. I had a prawn, avocado and lettuce and my wife went for Thai chicken plus a side order of chips. The presentation of the food was excellent, with tastes to match. We also noticed they had a book exchange tucked away in a corner, so we’re able to top up on holiday reading. Well recommended.
We only found this wonderful cafe 5 years ago. Can not rate it highly enough. Really great breakfasts, quality ingredients and very well presented. The staff are a joy to be with. Do yourselves a favour and call in. It gets very busy and no wonder. Some businesses just get everything right and this is a great example.
