The design of the refurbished Restaurant is amazing and authentic. Even the service has ist Appenzell charm. The food is unfortunately under average for a over average price. The Gordon-bleu is a disaster: tough, small, inedible I tried several times, and I still disappointed with the kitchen. View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing oasis with a great view on the Alpstein mountains. In the heart of the village TEUFEN, AR with many little shops surrounded. In short walking distance to local small train; connector to St. Gallen with direct connections to Zürich, Zürich Airport, Bern, Munich etc. Rooms are brand new built, comfy, in top modern design with high end bathroom fixtures. Friendly and helpful staff and fabulous gourmet restaurant, with historic features of original building. A must stay you will love it!
Have eaten two. from the place to the dining (3-course surprise menu) to the service a completely successful evening! we are sure to come back and look forward to the next surprising culinary delights!
From the anker kitchen you can only dream ( gourmet). the chef and the woman dearheer so attentive, they feel satisfied and happy. we enjoy it every time, thank you
