The Deck Piste - TETON VILLAGE

We had a fantastic experience at Piste. The views were breathtaking, and the food was outstanding. We started with the delicious Agnolotti Peach appetizers, and for our main courses, we enjoyed the Salmon Ribeye.

It had rained shortly before we took the gondola up to The Deck, so it was a bit chilly, but the view made it completely worthwhile! We ordered their fries to go, and they were delicious and helped us warm up!

On June 26, 2018, I had an amazing experience at The View! Every day, there's a free gondola ride starting at 5 PM, which takes just 12 minutes to reach the restaurant at the top. Along the way, I spotted a baby bear at post #20 and a marmot basking on a rock—it was such a delightful sight! When we arrived at the summit, we were greeted with a happy hour as well. I also had good cell service with T-Mobile, which was a nice bonus. The temperature drop made it feel like I was in heaven. I saw lots of BMX riders enjoying the ski trails, and this place is fantastic for kids too, featuring a rock wall, bungee jumping, and a ropes course. Just a heads up, parking is a bit limited, so you might want to rely on the shuttle service.

Great views! You can take the gondola up or hike up Wildflower Trail to get here. If hiking, it’s a nice rest stop before making the final trek up to the top where you can take the tram down. There’s a restaurant, bar, market and bathrooms located on site. The outdoor sitting area is a fantastic place to grab food or a drink while overlooking the valley below.

Sucks. Amazingly ugly bar/restaurant right off the Bridger gondola and marmot lift on JHMR. Views of the peak and corbet’s easy run. Pretty cool mountain though. And fun ride down from here. You are pretty much 3/4 to the top at this point. I think.
