Description

The restaurant experience has garnered mixed reviews, highlighting a combination of exceptional food and disappointing service. Diners praised the fresh, flavorful dishes and extensive menu, with particular nods to the garlic salt and pepper chicken and varied buffet offerings. However, issues arose concerning inattentive staff, long wait times, and strict dining policies that left some guests feeling uncomfortable. While the cozy ambiance and value for money received commendations, several reviewers expressed frustration over service lapses and portion sizes. Overall, while the culinary offerings shine, the service aspect needs significant improvement to match the food's quality.

This Chinese restaurant serves deliciously cooked dishes with plenty of options to choose from. The food is served hot at your table in a busy setting, so booking in advance is recommended. The average price per person for dinner is around £30-40. The food quality is rated at 5 out of 5, the service at 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere at 4 out of 5. Highly recommended dishes include various Chinese delicacies.

I absolutely adore the Water Margin, it is my top restaurant choice. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is top-notch. The food and drinks are outstanding, with beautifully presented dishes. This restaurant is perfect for dining out with both family and friends. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner.

For those who like their food spicy, be sure to request it that way. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was between £20-30. The food scored a 4, service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5.

No complaints about the food or the service, but I felt the restaurant was too crowded and too noisy so it was an unpleasant experience. I also wondered whether we would be able to get out if there was a fire in the kitchen. I couldn't see any signage and wasn't sure there was a safe exit.
