Bishop Blaize - Test Valley
Bishop Blaize
Description
The Bishops Blaize, a once-beloved local pub, now grapples with varied experiences from patrons. While some appreciate its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and a selection of ales, others voice concerns over unruly behavior and cleanliness. The recent ownership change has sparked debate, with transformed decor bringing some excitement, yet lingering issues—like accessibility and unsightly pets—cast shadows. Highlights include successful events like the Beggars Fair that showcased its potential. Ultimately, this establishment embodies the classic local pub spirit, but it must reconcile its offerings to satisfy both loyal patrons and new visitors alike.

Came here for a pub stop as a group of Leeds fans on the way down to Southampton very friendly and welcoming staff, nice beer garden Though one by one the lagers kept dropping off tap.. Madri was off as soon as we arrived and then they ran out of Stella too. But overall was a nice welcoming place.
I visited this pub during the beggars fair and found it to be a charming spot with a good selection of drinks and friendly staff.
0 star if I could, funny how there are a fair few reviews of staff assaulting members of the public, can see why. Wouldn't step foot in this place of you paid me.
