What takebreak likes about Dandy's Ford Fishery Tea Room:
Lovely full English breakfast in a little cabin by the lake, in summer you can spot the kingfishers here but is also a little gem off the beaten track for fishing . Staff and people made me feel welcome good atmosphere View all feedback. What Yvette Robinson doesn't like about Dandy's Ford Fishery Tea Room:
The cakes are excellent, coffee very average but the lack of a welcome from the staff has decided us that we will go to Gilbert's Garden Centre cafe just up the road in future. I am sorry to write this but just a good morning...and a smile would make all the difference View all feedback.

read moreThe Tea Room at Dandy's Ford fishing lodge offers a mixed dining experience, with inconsistent food and drink quality but a charming atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Customers appreciate the warm welcome and cozy ambiance, but service and food quality can be hit or miss. The café at Gilverton's Garden Centre is another option nearby, offering excellent cakes and friendly staff, despite average coffee. Overall, Dandy's Ford is a hidden gem for fishing enthusiasts, while Gilbert's Garden Centre offers a wider range of food options for all. Both locations have unique charms and are worth a visit for different reasons.
We visited dandy’s ford again, the tea room days are now limited, but the quality is unchanged they could not ask for more}, the accommodation in the lodge is o...
