On the advice of a friend I had lunch here, immediately noting that much of the clientele was local. It's an almost infallible clue to locals offering local cuisine is worth it and so it was. Canederli ineccepibili and also excellent stew with roasted potatoes. Friendly service and pleasantly d'antan furniture. Appropriate price. A pleasant stop on the road to Merano. View all feedback.
Amalia, owner and cook, person of heart, excellent cook. Excellent potato dumplings, Gulash, sweets, homemade speck... good

I've been seeing Miss Amalia's kitchen for a few years. . cook all dishes, from first to dessert. The menu varies every day depending on what the garden, the season and the fantasy of the cook proposes. It is better to book because unfortunately seats are a few about 15) . The restaurant is open only from spring to early autumn and is located in a panoramic position on the Palade stable a hundred meters from the Palade Pass. During the summer it is possible to enjoy a good fresh beer outside the open while you admire the wonderful panorama of the Adige valley. Too bad that you do not understand very well that it is a restaurant, but at the same time a fortune because maybe it would lose the charm of home cooking. The very low price and the abundant portions are together with the typical flavors of the tyrol a sufficient reason to stop whenever you pass. Courtesy and kindness are at home for cook and waitress.
Very good food, warm atmosphere, view of the Rosengarten massif, delicious Zwetschgendatschi
