the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had the oyvey vegan burrito (too big for me to eat in a session) and falafel platter. both were full of arrogens. updated by previous review on 2022-03-15 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Oy Vey Jewish Bakery And Delicatessen:
I ordered fresh pressed lemonade, vegan fish sandwich and vegan mash potatoes with engraving. The lemonade was freshly pressed from a lemon concentrate bottle. The Tofu fish was quite tasteless, but the bread and the sauce were good. I'm not sure if the potatoes were really or not, but I found a very hard lump inside and the engraving was terrible. I didn't even eat it. Overall dissatisfied and would not return. View all feedback.
Amazing food! I drove an hour and a half to eat here and it was worth it! A ton of menu options with a lot of it being vegan. It was delicious and fresh and everyone that works there is so nice and welcoming. Great environment and food and the baked goods are 10/10!
I would find it hard to believe that this place has passed any kind of health inspection. The interior is very dirty and there is a non-hypoallergenic, heavily shedding husky behind the counter. Some light music would be nice considering the small space, and the cooks seem very stressed with their complaints audible. We were told our food would be ready in 8-10 minutes but ended up waiting 30 minutes, which is three times longer than promised. To top it all off, the food was so salty that it was not even edible.
1st time here, outstanding. Got lunch special 1/2 sandwich (pastrami) 1/2 soup (Borscht). Great flavors, fresh made better than expected. Staff was very friendly felt like part of the family as I was there. Highly recommend.
Absolutely delicious, and the owners are very kind. Dietary restrictions: Amazing options for my daughter with celiac
I didn't get any pictures because I devoured it quickly: The Nepalese Egg Roll Up was a new experience for me and it was truly delicious! Packed with eggs and potatoes! I requested egg whites only and they easily accommodated my request. My wife ordered the Falafel Platter, which was just as tasty as usual for her. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and have a terrific sense of humor. I give this place 6 out of 5 stars! Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is nut and dairy free, and obviously kosher.
