East Star Chinese Buffet - Terre Haute

We were seated immediately for dinner and were provided with gloves for handling the serving utensils, as it was a buffet. The selection was abundant and everything was at the right temperature. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely return!

My friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and it was fantastic! They provide gloves for guests to wear while serving themselves at the buffet, which is a nice touch. The service is some of the best I've experienced in a long time; the staff is all lovely and friendly. They made sure our drinks were always filled and that everything was in order. The restaurant was clean, and they handled any mess quickly once customers finished their meals. The food was wonderful—my friend loved the sushi, and we enjoyed everything we tried. Everything at the buffet was hot, fresh, and we certainly didn’t leave feeling hungry!

We absolutely love this place! My fiancée and I visit weekly, and the staff is incredible. Everyone, from the lovely lady who manages the gloves to the Mexican sushi chef and the friendly waitresses who serve our drinks, is wonderful. The price is excellent for the fantastic food, all served by great people.

3 times here. the first time wasn't as great as we came just before the conclusion, so it wasn't so great to eat. the next two times we came to dinner so that eating was fantastic and my mother loves this place because it is the only Chinese buffet that we found that still has crab legs. we are coming back to the final.

Super great restaurant! Loved all the food. The staff was very friendly and they had a lot of variety. All the food tasted fresh, even at 3:30 in the afternoon! We got lots of sushi, broccoli beef and rice, sweet and sour chicken, egg drop soup, MORE sushi and deserts! We will definitely be coming here again on visits. Only disappointments were the bathroom and the chairs were uncomfortable. I would sit in a booth if you can.
