our local hosts have booked this restaurant for a business dinner for our pretty big party. we were served all kinds of dressed that were all very tasty and some quite interesting. the service was excellent. I want to think again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Taberna Guila:
visited with a largish group and a pre-ordered tasting menu. I had seen on the way that many (but not all) items were available gluten-free. when the man asked to clarify it, the man said I could eat anything except that brot, and she also immediately brought gf brot. the food was good. Went to this restaurant twice during my visit for lunch and dinner. Food was excellent both times. The wine selection was great and priced very reasonably. They have daily specials which are written on the black board as well as regular menu with brief English...translation. Restaurant is not very large and it gets very busy so please make a reservation if possible.
Restaurante muy bien situado en los locales anexos al Hotel Don Cándido, bonito y acogedor. Comida muy buena y servicio excepcional. Coincidimos con otros usuarios en que el tamaño de las raciones es escaso, pero la calidad es excelente y vale la pena. Estaría muy bien que entre semana al mediodía hubiese menú.
Elegí como anexo al hotel Don Candido donde me quedé. Ambiente moderno pero cálido y acogedor, espacio adecuado entre las mesas, personal joven y preparado. Menú catalán con un montón de pescado y deliciosas combinaciones, excelente paella negra, así como polipo, buena selección de vinos también a la copa, precios absolutamente en línea con la calidad ofrecida. También volví la noche siguiente y definitivamente regresaré al próximo viaje.
The menu is offers a very excellent regional cuisine. Everything was homemade and made at the moment. The meals were very well presented. Also the service was really good. If you are ever in the area, it is worth a detour.
The food is excellent. Fresh, well done and perfectly presented. The service could be better, it was crowd and they were a little bit collapsed. But it is an excellent choice.
