Due to some bad reviews here, we almost didn't dare to go to dinner here. Luckily, we did it. We had had the 7-course Tasting-Menu and all the courses were very delicious! The products used were all perfectly fresh and the dishes were clearly worthy of a star! I therefore cannot understand the bad reviews about the food at all. View all feedback.

This restaurant has betrayed me from 200 €. Not only that, but they refuse to answer my questions on the subject. I'm FLOORED about this behavior of a Michelin star restaurant. I booked a table. I then got a cancellation that reads, “We are regrettable to tell you that due to unforeseen circumstances, Il Bavaglino Restaurant will not be able to honour your booking on Monday, 24 October 2022 20:15.” So, of course, I made other agreements. Imagine my surprise to get a “no show” fee of €200. I thought that was an honest mistake and contacted the restaurant and shared a copy of the cancellation email. They informed that the cancellation email was a mistake on the side of their third-party booking company. But refused to refund the fee that it was not her fault! I've been following for three times and they refuse to acknowledge my attempts. I'm going through the dispute with my credit card company now. I could not recommend that someone book a table here. It's a shame because I was so excited to taste her food, but that was totally unacceptable.
I'm going to the restaurant to have the bavaglino on terrasini to spend a different evening from the others and try a different type of cuisine. I pray that the service of the girls (the girl with moved hair that made us pay and the girl with the helmet was excellent, very careful and premorous. We ordered 4 menus our trip and tasting from 4 glasses of wine. The menu is good, even the wines, there is nothing to say, but there is something that justifies theeur 175 in the head. The menu lacks of that factor that makes you say wow that I had never tried such a thing, I don't say it was not good but it's not a menu that makes you wonder how you expect from a michelin star. the only dishes that gave me a good feeling are, the leaves of love salad, the revisited light that was among other things a menu out and baccalá with potato cream that is part of the aperitif. The rest of the dishes are good but do not justify the 705 euros paid in 4. The bathroom was overlooked and the chef did not show up, I believe that if you offer an exclusive service (as the prices offered by the chef should at least show up to his guests. I'll be back? Honestly not.
