Excellent roasted meats, including a succulent roasted chicken with potatoes. Fresh salads. House wine was a bottle of local Nero d’Avola € 9 . We were seated without reservations upstairs in a loft overlooking the main dining room and kitchen. Noticed families, couples, groups of friends playing Sicilian card games and other games at their tables while waiting for their table’s name to be called to go to the kitchen and get their orders. Only drinks, bread, hard-boiled eggs ! are brought to the table by wait staff. You pay the bill at a cashier upon exiting. The prices are quite reasonable € 25 for 2 including salad, 2 chicken platters, a bottle of wine and a bottle of beer which never arrived that we did not catch on check-out . No complaints however as we enjoyed the quirky atmosphere and decent fare.

If the food is ready, you have to get it yourself, and real quick, fozza fozza as the cook will scream. Food is delicious, big portions and for reasonable price. On a regular Thursday in May, the restaurant was completely full.
