L'oasi Sapori Di Sicilia - TERRACINA

We were several times during our holiday in the restaurant, this year we go again. delicious food, especially antipasti di mare, but also other dishes. I personally recommend it very much.

Sicilian dishes prepared the traditional wise and some with additional fantasy. portions are quite large and the quality of the food is good. the first dishes are excellent and desserts, the arancino I must say was not spectacular. a beautiful place, friendly staff and easy to reach and park

Waited 40 to get a risotto while we ordered pasta when we finally got our pasta, it tasted as if it had been sitting for a long time. not also a good service

Eating is beautiful, they can choose pizza or traditional Sicilian dishes such as arancini (in several aromen) and pasta with fresh fish. good selection of desserts, most of them with mandel pasta, but the service is very disappointing: there is no written menu or no. set prices, the waiters are very slow and we will be on food we have not ordered.

We have visited this small family restaurant a few times (lunch and dinner) and every visit was wonderfull. The female cook is excellent and knows to use her skills to put the taste of Sicily in your mouth. For ex, the risotto with a lemon...cream and small shrimps is to die for!!!!! The other pastas are yummy too: maccheroncini alla crema di pistacchio or alla Norma. Don't forget to taste the involtini of swordfish or the sarde al beccafisso. All the deserts like cookies, cannoli and cassate siciliane are home made. If you are a small eater beware ...... ask for small portions if you want to eat a antipasto, primo, secondo and dessert, since the helpings are very generous; They don't have a menu, but the owner will explane you what his wife can prepare for you. This depends of course also from what she has found that morning at the market. Therefore every visit can be a big surprise. Their sicilian espresso is strong and tasty. The restaurant is simple, clean and childfriendly. It's divided in two areas : in the front the bar area for a quick espresso with some pastries, etc and in the back the real restaurant. Take-out is also possible (don't forget to order the arancini).
