Wah's Restaurant - Terrace Bay

On the banks of Lake Superior, I decided to try the mix of cultures represented by a restaurant with both advertised. The eggroll and fried rice were quite nicely chinese in character, the chicken balls were much like pork bits usually found in sweet and sour pork dishes, and all tasted good.I requested hot chinese mustard, and was served what actually tasted like hot dog dressing, not what I had in mind, along with the serving bowl of ketsup that came with the meal. Three choices of tea was a fine touch.The burgers and fries fellow diners were having looked good, and there were full tables so probably the restaurant keeps people coming back by serving what they want.My servings were large, and service very attentive and polite.

As a newcomer to Terrace Bay, I am looking for a restaurant that has consistently pleasant and quick service along with good food. After a long day at work, I don't want to cook and I am hungry. Wah's restaurant has delivered once again.

We enjoyed a Sunday Buffet. The food was good and fresh they replenished often. The selection was not large but the variety was good.

I have tried to have lunch or dinner at this place numerous times to no avail. For some reason it never seems to be open. . I will give up my efforts as everytime I have tried thus place I have had no luck. The hours of operation are not posted on the front door.

Not bad. Nothing special, just basic chinese food. Friendly staff but service can be slow when it is busy and there is just the one girl serving. Some of the pictures posted above are not accurate. The picture with the fancy spread of food - that is not this restaurant. So don't do by the pictures posted here!
