Terrace Bay Bakery

We were looking for a place for breakfast and this was recommended by another person at the motel. Breakfast was very good and quick.

Driving along the North Shore? Just a quick turn into the Plaza will take you to the bakery - well worth the stop. Try the soup for lunch too!

We stopped in recently for lunch. The first thing that struck me was that their front door is in need of a cleaning. We were served coffee right away and ordered the daily special. It was cabbage rolls and perogies and it came with a bowl of soup. The soup was Tomato Macaroni and it was excellent. We were rather concerned when a young girl about the age of 10 or 11 brought the soup to the table. It was piping hot and we were concerned that she might burn herself or even us if she spilt it. Our cabbage rolls and perogies came to the table and they were cool. Not at all hot. They were delicious and we decided to take them home and eat them for supper. The food was excellent but we were very turned off when the cook came out of the kitchen with a very dirty apron on. That was not a pretty sight. The waitress that served us when we first arrived also had a dirty t shirt on. Not an appealing sight.

Very good food. Had a quesadilla with split pea soup. soup was in a huge bowl and we also had the breakfast special Denver omelet also very good. Service was fast, quickly on our way!

D'après les critiques reçues, j'étais curieuse d'essayer le restaurant. Il y a une belle ambiance, la serveuse est joviale, sympatique. Le restaurant semble avoir plusieurs habitués, la serveuse connaissait plusieurs clients. J'ai trouvé la nourriture très ordinaire. J'avais pris la salade grecque. Ma fille a aimé les quesadillas, mon mari a pris des oeufs, bien correct.
