The service is really courteous and quite quick (but when we were there, there were only 2 tables). The food is not exceptional but then again, I wouldn 't expect exceptional around here. There are so many tourists that places like these live on numbers not on affectionate customers. The antipasto misto is ok, the produce is not of the highest quality. The tagliatelle with trout and saffron are very tasty, though a bit oily. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffle are ok, but the truffle could not be tasted. The torta della nonna is really good, filled with a cool, tasty cream. For the quality of the food, I thought the price was way too high. But without much competition you take what you can get.

We were a big party and the host reserved us the room with the view on the waterfall, all for us. We ate and drunk very well. The place was clean and the service excellent. It felt like being at home.

Of course they cater for tourist... read more Coming out of the cascata delle marmore , we looked for a restaurant and this one is spot on at the entrance across the roads. Of course they cater for tourist with a tourist menu as well. When you just stick to anitpasto and pasta, it is actually quite reasonable. They made a caprese plus some cold cuts for anti pasto. The pasta was good, a fresh pasta with cheese and nuts , thick pasta (ppici like with tomatos and good ragu. It was served before we finished the antipasit though. With it we drank a rosso montefalco for only 10 euros.

We... read more We stopped here for lunch when we were visiting the Marmore Falls. The place is on the other side of the road, right next to the parking place of the falls. We ordered grilled trout and it was excellent, as were the side dishes. The view from the terrace was amazing. The service was very friendly and fast, as you would expect, because there were no other customers when we arrived. Great place for lunch if you're visiting the falls.

The panoramic view adds a big plus to the whole thing. Staff is very kind and friendly and service is pretty fast. The bad side is that it's full of mosquitoes around, so off yourselves before getting there!
