Very nice place, but the owner is not able to accommodate the customers and treat it as it must be treated. For the rest, very good staff in the job. Bad experience.
I went last Friday with my partner for an apericena. We sat outside, but my partner was cold and then the waitress accompanied us inside, in the column room. Never seen before. I was fascinated by beauty. Real marble columns, probably Renaissance and brick vaults. Fish and white wine appetizer. Great. Good background music. Appropriate price. To try again and to recommend to couples looking for atmospheres of other times difficult to find elsewhere.
After a couple of years of suspension obligated by anti-covid laws, the buffet apericena is back on Saturday. One of the services that over the years had characterized the place. Excellent quality of the first and second, simply delicious meat, good price, 14 euros, me and my partner have filled the dish for three times. But no one would stop another round. Nice to suddenly find the good and healthy habits of once. We'll be back.
Bad experience, we won't be back for sure, not even the shadow of the previous management! Uncoordinated staff, they seemed to not know what to do, they went and came back empty-handed, with glasses in hand without trays, on the menu there is no wine and drinks card, fish cutter with cold fish frying. The cutters of the farmer very little and spritz so watered that instead of red were almost white. No professionalism, much improvisation.
If these are the premises of the new management, I do not see myself as a future customer. Bad order service. We were asked if we had ordered from 4 different people, after about 10 minutes we had the menus and another ten minutes was necessary to take the order. Everything very cool in appearance, but as often happens, the substance lacks. Not exactly spectacular drinks, yet they were simple spritzers. Taglieri for apericena for two people: we returned home and had to eat again. Poor portions, quality that does not justify the price (18 euros for two people only the cutter with some sliced and cheese and some vegetables). We had to ask for some bread, because it seemed not included in the cutting board and we received 6 small pieces between focaccia and bread (one of which practically dry). Total account for 4 drinks and two cutters (one for two people): € 66.
