Food not great service slow and inattention to detail

My wife and I were heading to Westport for a wedding and then on to Achill for a few days. We always stop in Keenan's, we had lunch on the way down and dinner on the way back. Always good, generous portions, friendly staff, value for money. We've never been disappointed here.

Amazing hotel, the staff are so friendly, great food in the bar, and the breakfast was just perfect. I have to mention the landlady. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. My partner is visually impaired, but on arrival she had left her cane in the luggage. The landlady realised that she had impaired vision within minutes and was so discreet and accommodating(without being overbearing) for the whole of our stay. I would 100% recommend Keenans.

Stopped off (on a boat) to get something to eat and we were not disappointed. The food and the service were great.

If I wanted to eat here with my wife at lunchtime, it was okay, but as at the price. I think that eating was very badly presented, would not be back in a hurry.
