the food is in order. we had the Mexican dinner. the enchiladas needed more taste. the cheese enchilada was good. we asked for the Verde sauce on the chicken chilada and the red sauce on the cheese enchilada. see the image for details, but they did half verde and half red on each enchilada. the tamale. Large small hole in the wall in Terlingua Ghost Town. White staff very friendly and food was excellent. Had some of the best Fajitas we have eaten for a long time! If we're in Big Bending, the trip would be absolutely necessary.
I really enjoyed our evening meal here. The servers were kind and friendly. We sat outside on the patio and they prepared a table next to ours for our 3 children to sit separately which turned out to be a great idea. The agave wine margarita and prickly pear were very good and complemented the Tex-Mex, southwest style scenery. The food was good for a quick bite but the relaxed atmosphere and staff made the dining experience wonderful. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Terlingua.
We usually eat here once a year, when we hike in Big Bend. Food was good—better than normal, What made this a five star, was the team. Ashley was so friendly, took our order and made sure everything was good. Darrell delivered the food and we felt blessed to have met him. Huge smile and you could tell he really cared that we were there. The team was amazing and I’m so glad we came back
Three of us spent nearly a week in Terlingua, enjoying off-road motorcycle rides in and around Big Bend National and State Parks. After exploring most of the local spots, this became our favorite place to relax after our rides. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and there's a nice selection of craft beers, including some great regional options. We even enjoyed some live music during our visit, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I learned that the restaurant recently underwent a change in management, and it seems the new team is committed to making improvements, which is evident in the overall experience.
The food was fantastic, and an ice-cold pear margarita was just what I needed after a few hikes. Our waiter, Darryl, was incredibly friendly and kept our drinks coming!
