Tsunami Sushi In W - ter Haven

Wonderful gyoza and sushi. The everything was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. I don't believe I've ever had asparagus in a Philly roll but it wasnt bad.

We waited for an hour and a half, and saw how other people hadn’t been served and left. It is a shame, because the food has improved but NOT the service. Once we decide to leave one of the cooks gave us an attitude making it even more disappointing. Message to management: HIRE more people!

I hadn’t eaten here in over a year. The food has always been excellent, but the long wait times—often an hour or more—kept me away. I decided to give it another try this past week, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is the food still top-notch, but the service is much faster now. The wait staff was attentive and efficient, making for a much more enjoyable dining experience. With the speed issue resolved and the quality still intact, I’ll definitely be coming back more often.

The best place to get sushi in the area. The crispy tuna appetizer is SO good, the miso and green salad soup are a secret winner (best ginger dressing in my opinion) and I love the dynamite mussels. The servers are so kind and personable, they’ve remembered us now only after 3 times of going I really love this place and whether you get it to go or go to the place, it’s delicious food!

My wife and I moved to Winter Haven last year and we found this restaurant around May 2024. We’ve already been north of 10 times and every single time it’s consistently the best. The Crispy Tuna Appetizer, Barracuda Roll, and Dynamite Mussels are show-stopping and delicious. Even the basics like the Miso Soup, Fried Rice, and Green Salad (the ginger dressing is perfect) are better than any other place i’ve been to. Staff is friendly and when we order takeout everything comes packaged extremely well, clearly labeled, and stays fresh till we get home. If you like sushi, even a little bit, this place is a must go.
