Their black beans were excellent. Cash only! This place was well decorated, and quite busy even though we were there fairly early. Zero complaints from the desayuno ranchero. It got me ready for the big hike to El Tepozteco.

The bright pink facade drew me to this restaurant, but the amazing dishes and superb flavors are what makes me want to go back. We shared a bunch of appetizers and everything was delicious! Definitely get a glass of horchata that was so freaking fabulous!

They offer a variety of traditional Mexican staples like beans, guacamole, nopales (cactus leaves), quesadillas, tlacoyos, etc. Servers are not familiar with veganismo, but you can just order things without cheese and they will be vegan. I recommend ordering guacamole, beans (without cheese), the nopal salad, and quesadillas or tlacoyos (without cheese or sour cream). Everything we had was really fresh and tasty. We ordered huitlacoche and squash flour and mushrooms--flor de calabaza con champiñones--quesadillas and they were delicious! Staff is friendly and serviceable, though don't expect them to speak English. Food comes quickly and everything is great. Inexpensive, but cash only!
