As a former New Yorker,... read more It 's rare to find a little gem like this where everything comes together: amazing food, great service, and really welcoming atmosphere. As a former New Yorker, this place would fit right in as a hidden treasure on a side street in Manhattan, a neighborhood joint that you 'd go to a few times a week because the food is consistently excellent and you come to depend on it as a regular, familiar place to share food. We went there twice during our visit to Tepoztlan, having different dishes, and they were all excellent. This will be our go to during future visits to Tepoz. Given the fact that this gem isn 't nearer to the center of town, it doesn 't get the volume of customers it deserves. Do yourself a favor and go eat here. You 'll love it.

Every meal we’ve ordered here has been superb and it’s most of them have not even been the burgers! They were so sweet to my toddler and let him go back in the kitchen to go say thank you to the chef. This is our staple and we’d love to go almost everyday!
