I suggest to everyone who wants to taste genuine Albanian traditional cuisine. I recommend the lamb or bucket meat and the cheese and yogurt sauce I felt like my mother cooked them.

The food is really good and really fres... read more Sajmola is a restaurant on the bank of river Vjosa. The road is great and there is free parking. The scenery is amazing. The food is really good and really fresh. Everything from the meat to the vegetables and dairy etc. Prices are very affordable all year round. You can fill a water jug or a bottle from the spring inside the restaurant which makes for a really unique experience. Some downsides are that calling ahead usually doesn’t work. If you call the number they will either say they are full or say that they have reserved your table and when you get there they haven’t saved one for you. This is only for the tables right near the bank that have the best view but there are other tables inside the restaurant so take your chances. Service can be slow, taking your order, delivering food etc. Would still recommend because of the food and scenery but be prepared for minor setbacks.

I was very dissatisfied with this restaurant. It is completely zero from the professional side .. very bad hygiene, very dirty toilets .., dishes, glasses, etc .. The staff is very clumsy, I wait 1 hour and a half, the order barely arrived. Finally came the famous food we had been waiting for so long, from the little baby goat meat I ordered became an old goat on the way from the kitchen to our table ... !! it was so high quality that when we left we all got sick, from the famous meat of this restaurant. I share this experience with you and I suggest you to think carefully before sitting down at this restaurant because you will be disappointed .. they are very low level professionally, they are cheaters, another food order another to serve at the table.never ever going again in this place.
