The London Beach - Tenterden

We had a fantastic stay with delicious food, wonderful staff, and a spacious room. The spa facilities were excellent, and although we didn't indulge in any treatments this time, we definitely plan to return. The ambiance was lovely as well. Thank you!

What a lovely place. The staff are so friendly, the food is top quality and the spa is so relaxing. If I had one criticism it would be with the lack of a heated towel rail in the bathroom due to the underfloor heating we ended up drying swimming stuff etc on the floor. Other than that our break was amazing and we'll definitely be back.

The portions were quite large, but the quality of the meats—pork, lamb, and beef—was just average, with both the lamb and beef being quite pink. It seemed that the meats could have benefited from a longer cooking time, although what we did manage to enjoy was decent. There was a good selection of vegetables, which included six options like cauliflower cheese. The potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and gravy, on the other hand, were excellent, and I could have happily filled my plate with just those! For those of us who prefer smaller portions, having an option for a smaller plate would have been appreciated. At £18 for the main course carvery and around £8 for dessert, it felt a bit pricey, especially for someone with a smaller appetite. However, the desserts were nicely presented, with even the ice cream scoops served in a glass dish that appeared generous. Overall, it was a nice place for a family gathering, especially after attending a remembrance service.
