Middle Earth Cafe & Restaurant

I ordered takeout around 5:30pm and it was delivered promptly when the delivery service began at 6pm. The food was delicious and the service was friendly.

This restaurant is a beautifully decorated sanctuary in the heart of Tennant Creek. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the variety and quality of the fresh ingredients. We would definitely come back the next time we are in town.

I had the black been beef stir-fry which was good. But my work colleague had the Mongolian Beef which was very tasty and extremely fresh. Service was good and meals were quick to come out. FYI it's BYO although there's a bottle o' across the street (shuts at 8pm apprx maybe 9)Meals were reasonably priced for the location of being in the middle of the desert.We both had the fried ice cream with caramel topping, which was well enjoyed treat to a nice evening and dinner. Second time I have eaten here on various trips. Would recommend it to friends etc.

My husband and I visited Middle Earth for dinner last night during our short stay in Tennant Creek. The restaurant is located directly across the road from the Goldfields Hotel. We were very impressed with the quality and quantity of the food, the friendly service and the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant. It has BYO too.If you're visiting Tennant Creek, we'd highly recommend you try Middle Earth for a pleasant evening.

We had dinner at the Middle Earth Café a few weeks ago, the portions were good, the food was tasty, the staff were friendly and helpful, there was a bit of a timing issue with the meals coming out but overall pretty decent. It seems like they have new staff perhaps why the timing issue but not enough for us to not recommend it as a dining destination, they will work the kinks out and it will be an awesome spot, we will be back.
