Restaurant was clean and decor was nice. Soup was very watery, bread seemed like yesterday's, not crunchy/fresh. Main dinner, Lamb, lacked flavour, mash potatoes were horrible, not proper mash, too much veg, not alot of lamb, 1 roast potatoe, didn't need to be there ! Just lacked passion to be honest, a simple, safe dinner. Total €21 ! Left feeling unsatisfied
I was there years ago while on training and was d place to go for dinner.... What happened???? Staff rude.. Heated up food...... Bar staff so rude and unpredictable well all I say is I've never been treated like this and let you make up your own mind... Apart from that food not up to scratch....
We booked it on recommendation from our Air Bnb host and it was great! Really good pub grub, very generous portions for really reasonable prices. We got a mountain of food and all 6 of my group loved it. Our waitress was so lovely too, she even went to the trouble of going to the shop to get berries just cause one of the girls had mentioned she wanted pavlova with berries!! Can't say you'd get that service many places! Definitely will visit again if I'm passing!
We were served by the Magnificent Lola, a superstar! I had the ribeye steakpictured and my good lady had the burger! I had a bite of the burger and it was so good. My steak came on a board with onions, mushrooms chips, salad and pepper sauce! Absolutely perfection. Delicious! I thought it was reasonable for €30 odd euro! Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend!
