Was Anonym at Zuma Grill a mag?
I absolutely love Zuma! The drinks are affordable and delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic! The DJ is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It's definitely the best club on Mill! View all feedback.

What Chris C dislikes about Zuma Grill:
The bartender refused to serve me because they said I didn't tip enough. I'm a college student just trying to get by and tip when I can, but I don't think I should be denied service and accused of lying right as I arrive. If I could, I would give zero stars. The middle-aged bartender was the one who disrespected me and wouldn't even let me buy a drink, claiming I had "ordered multiple times tonight," when it was actu... View all feedback.

I visited on Tuesday night to celebrate my birthday and to watch my friend DJ. At one point, while I was in the restroom, my girlfriend joined me, and we started chatting. For some inexplicable reason, the bathroom attendant, Kenya, interrupted us and spoke to us in a very rude manner. I pointed out that she was at work and should stay out of our conversation, which prompted her to become irate. She even threatened to take me outside and got in my face. I've never been in a fight because I prefer to resolve conflicts through conversation, and I made that clear to her. Bar staff then intervened and told me to leave. I attempted to explain that an employee was instigating a confrontation, but they didn't want to hear me out. I admit that I was very upset at that point, which may have affected my demeanor, but that doesn't justify the way I was treated. I was kicked out, and when I called later to speak with a manager, I was told there wasn't one available and to call back the next day. Since Wednesday is my actual birthday, I wasn't thrilled about having to deal with this on my special day, but I wanted to address the situation nonetheless. I called five times on Wednesday, including one call right at 10:30 AM, but received no response. I left a voicemail and haven’t heard back since. This entire situation was unacceptable, and the way I was treated is inexcusable. I had already stopped dining here due to previous issues, such as roaches in the bathroom, but now I have no intention of returning even just to dance. If this is how they choose to operate their business, I want no part of it. The demeanor of that attendant—who, to be fair, doesn't deserve to be called a lady given her behavior—makes her a liability, especially in an environment with intoxicated patrons.

Most of the staff are nice but the top security guy (Donnell is what I 've been told his name is) has a serious ego problem. I can only assume that he must be a washed out athlete that peaked in college. I did bottle service there roughly 5-6 weeks straight and he had a problem with me being 'white ' when I 'm actually Hebrew/French. He was extremely confrontational and told me to meet him after his shift so we could 'handle ' our situation which I wasn 't aware we even had. Completely unacceptable. I do not recommend this establishment.

The place is great! Nice employees, and great music! Not a great place to dance though and also the college kids are absolutely not nice at all! I have met a couple of nice college students but other then that, the college students are not nice! Everysingle person that lives on this planet should always know that you have to be respectful to others and always be nice to othersinstead of pushing, grabbing, hitting and saying bad words to others!

Being a Detroiter and visiting the Phoenix area; it was a treat to experience an authentic Coney restaurant: the Coney Dog with a snap, large thick fries, Faygo pop, Better Made chips and Superman ice cream. It was truly like visiting home. Nice job! Most of all, the customer service was professional!

If you are a Detroiter or from the Midwest, this is the place to go for some yummy coney dog.
