Not normally a fan of Japanese food but what I had here was very good. I was not disappointed in any way. The gentleman who helped me was very nice.

Nooooooo! Tokyo Stop do not change to frozen pre-cooked chicken again!! You set yourself apart by using fresh ingredients, we warned previous owners when they tried to switch, no different than a chain now, will be forgotten...switch back ASAP! Customer for over a decade.

I was very disappointed in the meal. I got a Large teriyaki chicken with fried rice. The chicken was burnt and the fried rice was just white rice with some veggies mixed in it. It honestly tasted like someone had used my meal as an ashtray. It also didn 't help that the restaurant also smelt like cigarette smoke.

I lived in the neighborhood near Toyko stop for years and regularly ate there. For easy affordable Japanese lunches Tokyo Stop provided delicious every time. They have an excellent Spicy Bulgogi recipe and filling curry and katsu. This place is my firstpick for a lunch stop for years and will be sure to check in whenever Im in Tempe.

Honestly today was my first time there. I ordered the spicy teriyaki chicken and when I received it all the chicken was very dry as in over cooked and charred. Every bite tasted burnt chicken. The sauce was good on the rice but was very unimpressed with themeal.
