I went to Nocawich for a brunch snack with some classmates and was pleasantly surprised to discover a tasty breakfast burrito on the menu. It’s reasonably priced and definitely worth it. The burrito included eggs, fries, cheese, and came with a side of salsa—which was excellent by the way. They also offer a punch card for regular customers. I will definitely be coming back.
The team is what truly makes Nocawich stand out. The cashier who helped us was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to find a great substitute when an item was unavailable. Leonel and the other staff preparing the food provided exceptional customer service—they were kind, upbeat, and genuinely seemed to care about doing an excellent job. I’m not sure why another reviewer left a negative rating; perhaps they just have a different attitude! Honestly, the staff here were amazing, thoughtful, and attentive. And keep in mind, you’re in an airport—prices are going to be higher everywhere. On top of all that, I accidentally left my phone, cash, and credit cards on their counter, and they kept everything safe until I returned. As a small business owner myself, I would hire this team in a heartbeat! The owner is lucky to have such dedicated employees. Keep up the great work—I’ll definitely be back. Also, the French fries and salads are fantastic!
I had an incredible experience with the service at this restaurant! I was pressed for time to catch my connecting flight. Although the line was manageable, there were a few customers ahead of me. Since I hadn’t eaten all day, I kindly asked the cook if she could speed up my order, and she graciously obliged. Thanks to her help, I made it to my flight on time, and I’m really thankful for that. I ordered the nova burger, which was decent for $10, although the patty was a bit on the thin side. The bread, however, was good. Once again, I truly appreciate the outstanding service!
This is one of the top sandwich shops in the area. If you're in search of a delicious meal at a great price, it's an excellent quick stop. My favorite is the Cisco Kid, which is perfect for your first visit. The vibe is very relaxed, and you can feel good about supporting a local business that often sources its produce from nearby farms. There's always great music playing, and plenty of seating if you want to unwind. The bakery is definitely a standout, featuring a wide array of tasty treats. I've been coming here for a while now and haven't repeated a single pastry; each one has been outstanding and incredibly fresh. Another nice touch is that if you're a regular, the friendly staff makes you feel welcomed every time you come back. This place is a must-visit in Tempe, even with its early closing hours.
The salads and pastries are incredibly tasty, and I highly recommend giving them a try. However, I wouldn’t suggest ordering the sandwiches for takeout. I've sampled three different sandwiches over the past few months, and each time, the bread turns completely soggy within just five minutes. While the ingredients are delicious, the wet bread really detracts from the overall experience. Next time, I might request the condiments on the side, but I think the restaurant should really find a solution to this problem. For now, I think I’ll stick to salads and desserts.
