The churros are some of the best to eat especially their dragon nest special. The menu is VERY diverse with several different street food from Vietnam. Their hand out menu is easy to read and understand. Their drinks come in very cute egg cups that you can always keep as a souvenir. I constantly find myself craving their lychee tea the most! What Alison doesn't like about Churro Nest:
Churros were so dry couldn’t even eat them. The churro bites were cut into pieces and they were so dry they just crumbled. Tasted gross as well. Threw them away, wasted $5. I can’t believe the employees would even serve those. Also place had sewer smell inside. View all feedback.
I visited the place for an evening snack, there were no crowd. The interior was small and cute. I ordered chicken waffle, chicken curry and Dragon Nest. The chicken waffle had a great crispy texture with chipotle glaze on the top and I loved the sweet finish with the Dragon Nest. However, Chicken curry tasted like it was made from a instant/readymade mix. The presentation of Dragon Nest was so good and cute, but it came in a flimsy cup and paper, which got soggy quickly and made eating a bit messy. They also gave out bento boxes to Yelp members, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. I appreciated the owner's friendliness. She made sure I had water and genuinely asked for my feedback on the food.
It took a little while to get our order, but maybe because they make the churro fresh? I ordered the churro bowl with ice cream and toppings. It was good, but nothing special. Not a staple dessert stop for me.
I went during my lunch hour. They are located in Tempe Marketplace across from forever 21. It was fairly empty. The service was good and the food was great! I ordered mini churro and an horchata latte. The churro were nice and crispy with soft center just the way they should be. The horchata latte was amazing! I can't wait to go back and try more menu items.
The churro crusted chicken is so good! The chicken and churro which is basically a churro take on chicken and waffle is my favorite. The other street foods are affordable and good. The egg drinks are so cute. The churro stuff with ice cream of course is great.
It should be illegal for them to be opened in AZ in the summer and no AC on. Horrible environment due to no AC. The 1 counter/register employee was great.
