This is a simple restaurant in Perak. It is noted for serving fresh prawns and fresh water fish dishes. Their steamed fresh prawns dish is fantastic. Their steamed fish dishes are good too. The fried noodles are reasonable. Their service is fast. Cleanliness is acceptable. Prices are reasonable. Only cash is accepted here. Parkings are roadside parkings and easily available. Handicapped patrons on wheelchairs can patronize this place easily.

The restaurant is famous among the Chui Chak people so majority of the customers are very locally people stay around the village. Missus took me and her family for dinner just now. It’s a very typical Chinese style restaurant don’t expect any extra service after the food is served. The steamed fresh river prawn is good but could have been better if the chef slice up the prawn half open and add a bit of Chinese white wine.. prawn will more be juicier. Quite disappointed with the kung Po frog, it’s flavourless and the frogs are not fresh as it’s also tasteless. The crispy deep fried bitter melon with salted egg is good but the salted egg is quite stingy. Could have been better if more salted egg is added in the dish. Steamed fish taste a bit overcooked but nevertheless it’s fresh in taste. We ordered 7 dishes included a soup with 9 people which cost RM 257. It’s alright consider the most expensive was the prawn which was around RM 95 for 9 pieces. It’s defo cheaper than city price rate.

This is family run business with authentic 煮炒taste. Ordering a fresh water prawn, the price is 160RM per kg. Do check the price before ordering.

A really good Chinese restaurant. eating was great, the service was very professional and friendly and the price was very reasonable.
